This month we have started a 19 house small estate in Telford Street, Horwich, Bolton, as yet we have only completed the first block consisting of four, three bedroom houses. The drawings style for these projects has been a new style adopted for new houses which is different from extensions which has been Mcgarrys Design main objective since conception. We have done new properties before but as there is to be a conveyor soon for new houses in Horwich this drawing style is a great advantage. Many people have been contacting me through April with regards single storey extensions which i am also developing, the most interesting extension this month is a side extension  onto a house in Radcliff  being completely separated into a new dwelling with first floor three bedrooms a bathroom and ground floor large lounge/diner and decent size kitchen. (drawings will be posted soon). As well as creating drawings for this project McGarrys Design will be obtaining SAP and SBEM calculations which are for the predicted energy consumption of a house, some extensions now require these as part of the new Part 'L 1 a & b' Building Regulations if excessive glazing is to be used so McGarrys Design have ways and means to get round these hurdles created by the national bodies.
