Over the early months of 2010 as well as achieving planning permission for sites with greenbelt areas, I have carried on with the usual double and single storey extensions some of which need planning some are permitted development.

Since March 2010 I have started a new housing estate in Horwich Bolton where the is an existing mill previously burnt down, planning permission for the 20 proposed houses is being sought by the developers planning consultants and we have been asked to do the building regulation drawings and 3D presentation drawings. We have been asked due to the quality and detail of our work as well as other services McGarrys Design can offer.

My developer has also recently bought some land within a new housing estate already existing in Horwich called Arcon village built by Redrow. We have been asked to create all drawing facilities offered for 3-4 houses upon this site estimated cost per house £400k (details to follow)

Since December we have been developing a Greenbelt project in Knowsley (As mentioned earlier) recent developments have been agreed and proceeding to submit drawings. This project is a 4 storey; Basement, ground floor, first floor and second floor within the roof development. I have a very good working relationship with most local authority areas within the Greater Manchester and surrounding area, this is very important as you are in contact with the same people time after time. Its very important to become acquainted with your local authority in regular areas worked within as this enables planning and building officers to become frequented with your drawings and procedures, this also has its advantages.
